Angela “Angie” Jeffrey has joined Salience Insight, the global media evaluation specialists, as the company’s US Managing Director with effect from September 1, 2013.
The appointment strengthens Salience Insight’s international management team and comes just three months after the company’s re-launch as a global brand. Last year, News Group International, Salience Insight’s Middle East-based parent company, acquired KD Paine & Partners and the UK’s Report International as the first phase in a global expansion programme.

She has advanced media measurement as a credible business resource in the USA for many years, so the experience this has given her will be crucial as we enter the next phase in our international expansion, following last year’s acquisitions.”
Ms Bodie said that Angie Jeffrey’s extensive knowledge of US media and business issues will reinforce the company’s competitive strategy of using local market knowledge to give clients a global perspective on media issues.
In her new role, Angie Jeffrey will provide senior counsel and act as a primary interface for Salience Insight’s US clients. She will also help develop and expand the company’s US offer, including social media monitoring and evaluation.
Now a recognised evangelist, thought leader, writer and speaker for PR measurement and evaluation, Ms Jeffrey spent two decades in PR, advertising and marketing with JC Penney, and major national PR agencies, before starting her own firm, Houston-based Jeffrey Communications. She also created PRtrak™, one of the first analysis tools to cover print, broadcast and internet coverage.
More recently, Ms Jeffrey founded MeasurementMatch.com, a consultancy aimed at matching the right measurement providers with the right clients. She is also a member of the Institute of Public Relations’ (IPR) Commission on PR Measurement & Evaluation and an active speaker at many industry conferences.
